Floor Plans are very similar to maps but used to measure out items within the room. Basically, they are a 'to scale' drawing of rooms, spaces and any other structures of where they are in the room. A Floor Plan for a Television studio consists of the size and amount of set, the cameras and lighting's exact positions, and the audience's seating area. A Floor Plan is another way of looking, how much space everything takes up and how much space is left on the floor.
When coming to drawing out the Floor Plan for the 'Media Circus' Quiz Show, the drawing will be on A4 paper, size 1:50. That simplifies it to, 2cm=1m of Studio Floor.
